ERP software: Microsoft Dynamics AX ROI

Nucleus Research, a global provider of research focused on IT return on investment (ROI) and advisory services, has announced the results of an independent study titled, "The Real ROI from Microsoft Business Solutions-Axapta."

Highlights

75 percent of customers had achieved a positive ROI from their Microsoft Dynamics AX deployment with an average payback period of 23 months. Companies cited four key benefits leading to a positive ROI from Microsoft Dynamics AX: staff reductions, reduced IT costs, improved customer and partner satisfaction, and improved operations and visibility.

Fully 56 percent of Microsoft Axapta customers were able to reduce staffing costs as a result of their Microsoft Dynamics AX deployment. A number of companies reported that increased productivity as a result of their Microsoft Dynamics AX deployment allowed them to reduce or redeploy key staff members into positions where they can work more effectively.

44 percent of Microsoft Dynamics AX customers were able to reduce IT costs as a result of their Microsoft Dynamics AX deployment. Microsoft Dynamics AX allowed many companies to replace outdated or expensive mainframe systems, significantly reducing their ongoing IT maintenance costs.

75 percent of Microsoft Dynamics AX customers reported improved operations and visibility as a result of their Microsoft Dynamics AX deployment. Microsoft Dynamics AX's integration and e-commerce components allow you to open up your business and ordering information directly to customers and partners, making it easier for them to do business with you, and improving your customer and partner relations in the process.
