Customer Excellence Awards

The Convergence Customer Excellence Awards recognize, honor and celebrate customers that have achieved outstanding success with their Microsoft solutions as well as Microsoft partners' solutions.

Microsoft is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2008 Customer Excellence Awards!

Overall Excellence          

The Overall Excellence category winner is chosen by Microsoft executives from nominations submitted in the other eleven (11) categories.

Evangelism        

The Excellence in Evangelism award recognizes a customer that has demonstrated a strong commitment to Microsoft technology and services. This customer not only evangelizes Microsoft business management solutions, but is also a source of continual feedback to Microsoft and takes the time to engage with other customers or potential customers to share learning.

Innovation         

The Excellence in Innovation award recognizes a customer whose innovative use of a broad range of Microsoft technologies delivers measurable benefits to their organization.

Academic Alliance           

The Excellence in Academic Alliance award recognizes a special group that has greatly enhanced their students’ learning experience and preparation for their careers by integrating Microsoft solutions into the curricula at the university level.

Multinational Implementation  

The Excellence in Multinational Implementation award recognizes a customer that has achieved extraordinary success in the implementation of their Microsoft business management solution across multiple countries, currencies, and business processes. This customer has demonstrated innovative technology and process execution to overcome the many challenges of doing business internationally.

Environmental Sustainability      

The Excellence in Environmental Sustainability award recognizes a customer who is using their business management system in an innovative way to track their initiatives around becoming more environmentally sustainable.

The Services Industry Leadership award recognizes a services organization (including Professional Services firms such as IT and management consulting firms, architecture and engineering firms, and financial services companies) whose innovative use of technology in their business delivers measurable benefits to their organization.

Manufacturing

The Manufacturing Industry Leadership award recognizes a manufacturing firm (e.g., in an area such as hi-tech, industrial equipment, automotive, and/or metal fabrication) whose innovative use of technology in their business delivers measurable benefits to their organization.

Public Sector     

The Public Sector Industry Leadership award recognizes a government, education, or healthcare institution whose innovative use of technology in their business delivers measurable benefits to their organization. Benefits of Winning a Customer Excellence Award

Pre-Convergence:

• Recognition on the Convergence website.
• Customizable press materials.

At Convergence:

• Award recipients and their partners will be honored at an event hosted by Microsoft executives.
• Recognition in all Convergence materials.
• Recipients will be recognized in a Keynote Session.
• A half hour meeting will be scheduled with a Microsoft executive.
• Free Convergence 2008 Copenhagen registration pass.

Post-Convergence:

• Recognition on the Convergence website.

Expectations of Award Recipients

• Sign a Microsoft legal release to allow use of your company name, logo, etc. in Convergence materials.
• Provide a company logo (.eps or other high resolution file) for use in Convergence materials.
• RSVP for the onsite event on Wednesday, 19 November 2008 hosted by Microsoft executives.
