Kirill Tatarinov

Kirill Tatarinov is the new leader of the MBS business effective July 2nd, 2007 and for the past five years Kirill has led Microsoft's management business and has done an exceptional job prioritizing our R&D bets, galvanizing the team and delivering high-quality solutions to our customers and partners. This has yielded break-through results for Microsoft including a greatly expanded product portfolio, improved brand perception, and a growth rate double what it was when Kirill took over the business.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Kirill spent time in both large and small company environments and experienced what it was like to be a Microsoft partner, a key requirement for the MBS leadership role.

He was the Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for BMC where he also spent time leading Business Development and running an end-to-end business, and was the founder of his own company, Patrol Software, the developer of innovative software solutions for systems and network management. Patrol Software was acquired by BMC in 1994. Kirill has also worked in several systems, networking and consulting companies in Russia, Israel and Australia.
