Renewing your coverage on time will keep your licenses compliant and give you the opportunity to:

Add products. Increase the success and productivity of your faculty, staff, and students by licensing all of the tools they need.

License students. Now that you've experienced the benefits of standardizing your staff and faculty on the same software, it's a great time to do the same for students and build a true Connected Learning Community. You can only add the Student Option.

Include other schools. If your current enrollment is for only one or more schools in your district, consider including other schools or your entire district. You may even qualify for lower pricing.

Receive special pricing. As a renewing customer, you qualify for special pricing. If you have the one-year subscription, the per-unit pricing from Microsoft to your distributor will not increase by more than 10 percent over the previous year's pricing* as long as you license the same products in substantially the same quantities.

If you have a three-year subscription, the per-unit pricing from Microsoft to your distributor for the products you ordered for year one will not increase for years two and three.*

You have to renew on time to qualify, so don't miss your deadline.

*Annual pricing is determined by your reseller. Reseller prices may vary. Please discuss pricing details with your reseller.

Frequently asked questions

How do I renew my School Agreement version 3.4 or 3.5 subscription?

Renewing your license coverage is easy. If you chose the one-year licensed period on your subscription enrollment, then you submit an extension order through your reseller before the expiration of your licensed term. This order extends the licensed term for one additional year. With your extension order, you include an updated PC count, any changes to your product selections, and a new Student Option count (if you chose this option). Extension orders are subject to the 300-unit minimum order size.

If you chose the three-year licensed period on your subscription enrollment, then you submit an anniversary order through your reseller before the first and second anniversaries of the effective date of your subscription enrollment. If you are at the end of your three-year licensed period, you must complete a new subscription enrollment to continue to be licensed under your School Agreement.

How do I renew my School Agreement version 3.2 subscription?

At the end of your current School Agreement 3.2 licensed period, you can complete version 3.5 of the Campus and School Agreement as well as the School subscription enrollment to renew your coverage. Contact your reseller to complete the 3.5 contract.

Is there a grace period for my School Agreement license coverage?

No. Your School Agreement license coverage expires immediately upon the expiration date.

When should I start the renewal process?

To avoid a lapse in coverage, we recommend that you begin the renewal process 90 days before your coverage expires.
