Our Footprint

Microsoft understands and embraces the unique opportunity it has to help improve our environment around the world. We also recognize that this responsibility starts at home. To that end, our goal is to reduce our carbon emissions per unit of revenue by at least 30 percent (compared with 2007 levels). We'll do it through a number of programs and policies that improve energy efficiency in our buildings and operations, reduce air travel, and increase our use of renewable energy.
