Spread across a sprawling 54-acre site, the campus has been designed to mirror Microsoft’s Redmond
campus’ standards, while blending in with Hyderabad’s landscape. It is best described as ‘smart and
green’. The responsibility of conservation is taken seriously and the buildings are very energy-efficient,
eco-friendly and are equipped with hi-tech safety systems. In fact, our campus has been awarded the
highly-sought after LEED Gold Certification.
Work areas in our buildings are equipped with world-class communication infrastructure.
The campus is Wi-Fi enabled with telephone instruments that have Exchange Unified
Messaging (EUM) that helps employees receive and read voice mails or emails while they
are away from their desk. People interact and collaborate across boundaries with
Microsoft’s very own Round Table that allows 360° view video conferencing facilities.
Being an environment that loves diversity, we have a huge cafeteria catering to diverse local and
international palates. The cafeteria is open 24x7 and has dining spaces that allow employees to watch TV
and web casts of key Microsoft events from Redmond. Every floor of the building has informal meeting areas,
stocked with several beverages including coffee, tea, aerated drinks and energy giving drinks, enabling
employees to refresh themselves during work.
Common areas across the campus have foosball, carom, table tennis and pool tables,
and XBox 360 consoles. The multipurpose sports ground which converts into a cricket or
soccer field along with a basket ball court, beach volley ball court and a tennis complex,
ensure Microsoft employees can enjoy a leisure time after work.
