Your customers can put Microsoft Windows Server 2003 to work—and receive up to $15,000 to spend on partner services

Updated: September 30, 2005

The Microsoft Public Sector Windows 2003 Migration Promotion offers $600 subsidies for use toward on-site partner services, plus free online support.

Customers who take advantage of this offer by December 15, 2005 can put the latest Microsoft Windows Server System technology to work for their organization—and save money.

The offer

When state and local government customers acquire:

1 Microsoft Windows Server 2003 license and 50 Client Access Licenses (CALs)

When education customers acquire:

2 Microsoft Windows Server 2003 licenses and 50 CALs

They receive:

A $600 subsidy toward on-site partner services for each qualifying purchase. Up to 25 redemptions allowed—for a total maximum subsidy of $15,000.

How the offer works:

1.

The customer contacts their preferred Microsoft partner or visits the Microsoft Resource Directory to locate a partner. The customer then contacts the partner to discuss the on-site services available.

2.

The customer makes the qualifying purchase of Windows Server 2003 and CALs.

3.

The customer notifies the partner that the qualifying purchase was made (if the purchase was not made through the same partner).

4.

The partner gathers the necessary information and applies for the subsidy online.

5.

Within 2–4 weeks, the customer receives a subsidy check by mail, payable to the partner. The customer then contacts the partner to arrange for the on-site services.

Technical support

Online newsgroup support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for customer migrations to Microsoft Windows Server 2003. Most queries will be replied to within one business day. No charge or purchase is necessary to access the newsgroup. See It in Action.
