An award-winning writer and television producer, Karin Price Mueller has specialized in personal finance for nearly a decade. Her expertise is turning the often-complicated issues of money matters into interesting, understandable and fun-to-read stories. Many of her assignments are with online news organizations, so her Internet knowledge is extensive.
Karin writes regularly for Better Homes and Gardens’ Family Money Magazine, and she pens a weekly column called “Women & Money” for its Web site, FamilyMoney.com. She also writes a weekly column for The Boston Herald, “On The Market,” which explores investment opportunities in various sectors of the market. She’s also written for some of the top money sites on the Internet, including TheStreet.com and Quicken.com.
Before she ventured into the world of print and online writing, Karin was an award-winning television producer. CNBC won its first ever CableAce Award for business programming under Karin’s leadership as producer of “The Money Club.” She’s also been a producer at CNN-fn and WBIS+, a Dow Jones and Wall Street Journal-sponsored television station.
Karin’s taken her love of teaching readers about money to teaching students in a classroom, as an adjunct professor of journalism at New York University, her alma mater.
