Julie Adair King is the author of several popular books about digital photography and image editing. Her most recent titles include Digital Photography for Dummies, Adobe PhotoDeluxe for Dummies, and Microsoft PhotoDraw for Dummies. King contributed to several other books about computer graphics, including Photoshop 4 Bible, Photoshop 4 For Dummies, CorelDraw! 7 For Dummies, and PageMaker 6 For Dummies. In addition, she writes a weekly advice column about digital photography for Zing.com, a Web site devoted to photography. She also is the author of Corel WordPerfect Suite For Dummies and Corel WordPerfect Office 2000 For Dummies. Books not related to computers include The Smart Woman’s Guide to Resumes and Job Hunting and The Smart Woman’s Guide to Interviewing and Salary Negotiation. A 1980 graduate of Purdue University, King holds a degree in the field of radio and television communications. She began her professional writing career in 1983 and established her own company, Julie King Creative, in 1988, in Indianapolis, Indiana, where she resides.
