James Foxall is Vice President of Tigerpaw Software, Inc. (www.tigerpawsoftware.com), a Microsoft Certified Solution Provider (MCSP) specializing in commercial database applications. James is also a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) and is responsible for managing the development of the award-winning Tigerpaw Business Suite. He has a high level of experience creating distributed applications with more than 1,200 multi-user Business Suite client sites. James has spent a great deal of time focusing on application interface and behavior standards of applications designed for the Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office environment. He has written more than 100,000 lines of commercial Visual Basic code, as well as books and articles on Microsoft Visual Basic and Microsoft Access.
James Foxall has written several computer books on both Visual Basic and Microsoft Access including Practical Standards for Microsoft Visual Basic (Microsoft Press, 2000). He has also written for Access/Office/VBA Advisor magazine, and he’s an international speaker on Microsoft Access and Visual Basic. In addition to speaking and writing, James has taught Visual Basic at the college level and has been featured for his technology expertise on numerous television news shows, in trade publications, and in newspaper articles.
