Robin Reynolds-Haertle, programmer/writer for Microsoft Developer User Education, graduated from Seattle University with a Master of Software Engineering degree in June 2000. She followed that by teaching the Object-Oriented Programming with Visual Basic class for the University of Washington Outreach program. Since October, she has been responsible for writing, checking, and testing the Visual Basic.NET and C# code examples for the Conceptual documentation teams. She has coded Windows, Web, and Console applications, Web Services, Windows Services, and custom controls, all in both Visual Basic.NET and Visual C#. All of this experience makes Robin uniquely qualified to write an introductory object-oriented programming book utilizing these languages.
