Chris Boar has been in the IT industry for 14 years. His many roles have included software developer for a shoe company, software developer for an independent software vendor, and IT manager for a manufacturing company. After six years at this last company, implementing first PCs and then the networks to link them, Chris moved to a corporate position where he implemented and managed an e-mail system for more than 2500 users. He also drove a project to centralize an EDI function for satellite operations. He later moved into IT training as a Microsoft Certified Trainer, with a specialty in solutions-focused training. Chris now works at Microsoft in developer training for Training and Certification.
