Office 365 and Office 2013 licensing and packaging

The new Office gives customers a comprehensive set of productivity tools to help them do their best work in a world of devices and services.

Your customers will look to you to recommend the Office that best meets their needs. To help them decide which version works best for their circumstances, it is important to understand the number of devices they use.

Customers who need Office across multiple devices

With this release, we're modernising Office, and an important part of that is the introduction of new subscriptions. Subscriptions open a host of possibilities, and subscribing to Office 365 will be the best choice for many—especially families, people with multiple devices and small businesses. With a single subscription, customers can use Office across a wide variety of devices, from PCs and tablets to Macs.

Customers who need Office for a single PC or Mac only

Traditional Office suites are the option for customers who need Office on one device. The Office 2013 suites allow customers to save their work to SkyDrive by default and make it easy to connect to the cloud.

All Office 365 subscriptions and Office 2013 suites can be purchased from Microsoft authorised distributors as a Full Packaged Product (FPP) or Electronic Software Delivery (ESD)*.

*ESD through distributors where available.
