 OEM Reseller Incentives Programme

If you’re an OEM partner based outside the US*, you may be able to register for the OEM Reseller Incentives Programme to be reimbursed for reselling and promoting genuine Microsoft software.

*Within the US partners can participate in an incentives programme managed directly by the US OEM account management team.

How it works

You can earn incentive funds for each qualifying system builder software licence you purchase from a Microsoft authorised OEM distributor. Apply accrued incentive funds toward cash rebates, or use them to get reimbursed for costs associated with eligible marketing and readiness activities. Resellers can participate at two levels, which have different eligibility requirements, fund accrual rates, and amounts of incentive funds that can be claimed as cash rebates:

  • Tier 1. Identical to the OEM Reseller Incentives Programme prior to July 1, 2012, this level of participation offers higher incentive funding.
  • Tier 2. Formerly known as the Breadth OEM Reseller Rebate Programme, this level of participation has lower purchasing requirements for eligibility.

Participants at both tiers are required to be Microsoft Partner Network members and must meet a minimum purchase requirement over six months within at least one Microsoft product family. Additional technical certification requirements apply for Tier 1 participation. Send an email to the OEMIncentives Support team with your Microsoft Partner Network partner ID number and company name to learn whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
