Interview with Christine Sindelar

Q. Can you talk to us about your involvement as an OEM partner? What does that mean for you, and how long have you been involved in the program?

A. I’ve been a member of Microsoft Partner Network (MPN) since June 2006. As of January 2010, I’m also a member of Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN).

Q. Can you tell us more about your business, Masterpiece Creations?

A. At Masterpiece Creations By Cristie & Company, we specialize in global unified communications.

Q. How did you hear about the CES Giveaway contest? Were you surprised when you won?

A. I found out through the OEMPartner handle on Twitter. It made my day to find out that I won.

Q. What was it like traveling to Las Vegas and attending the show? Can you describe the crowd? How was it being there in the middle of all the best of the best in technology?

A. Everybody has an “I cannot believe this happened to me” travel story—CES 2012 was mine! Las Vegas is an electrifying town, so CES 2012 was exciting. The crowd was wowed at every turn with some new gadget. I don’t necessarily believe I was in the middle of all the best in technology there, but it was very rewarding to see some final products roll out into the marketplace.

Q. What stood out to you the most at CES? Any particular technology or brand?

A. Without question, the most innovative technology at CES 2012 was the introduction of Microsoft’s Windows 8 operating system.
