SQL Server Compact 3.5 Service Pack 1 is the latest version of SQL Server Compact and introduces a host of new features including ADO.NET Entity Framework support, case-sensitive collations at the database level, native 64-bit runtime, Microsoft Synchronization Services for ADO.NET version 1.0 Service Pack 1 for mobile devices, plus improved support for private deployment of 32-bit and 64-bit applications that lets developers rapidly develop and deploy applications using Visual Studio 2008 Service Pack 1. If you are downloading SQL Server Compact 2005 (3.1) or SQL Server Compact 3.5 we would suggest that you download SQL Server Compact 3.5 Service Pack 1.
