Registering Your Interest in Becoming a Microsoft Supplier

Procurement

If you are interested in becoming a Microsoft supplier, visit our registration Web site, where you can provide us with important information about your company. Registering does not guarantee that your company will become a supplier for Microsoft. However, by registering, you alert Microsoft buyers of your interest and provide them with information to help them determine whether your company is appropriate for consideration.

After you have registered, you can re-access the registration Web site at any time to update your profile.

Visit our registration site and register your interest in becoming a Microsoft supplier

Note: Microsoft provides extra visibility to suppliers in our vendor list that qualify as diverse (for example, woman-owned, minority-owned, and veteran-owned). In order to qualify for this special recognition, vendors must be certified by one of the agencies listed in our list of Official Accreditation Organizations or by a federal, state, county, or local government agency.

Here is how Microsoft identifies and selects new suppliers:

  1. When starting a procurement sourcing initiative, a Microsoft Vendor Account Manager or buyer first reviews our list of current approved vendors.
  2. If a current vendor is unable to fulfill the requirement, the buyer will search for new vendors by using our supplier registration database, databases of certified diverse firms, and other referrals. The certified diversity databases come from organizations such as the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), National Minority-Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), Center for Veteran Enterprises (CVE), and Department of Defense's Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
  3. If your company is deemed appropriate for consideration, the Microsoft Vendor Account Manager or buyer will contact you to be included in the procurement sourcing initiative.
