Privacy Statement for Vendor Sites

A link to the privacy statement must appear in the footer of each page on sites hosted for Microsoft by vendors. (see Page Layout ). The privacy statement template should be selected depending on whether personal information is collected (i) from customers or partners, (ii) from Microsoft employees, or (iii) for a survey.

The following templates are available:

•	Microsoft Data Protection Notice for Employees Microsoft employee information is collected online and/or a site/application provides employees with access to personal information

Privacy Statement Templates for Digital Distribution Sites (includes localized versions) This Microsoft privacy statement should only be used by digital distribution service providers that are hosting sites that sell or otherwise distribute Microsoft products through electronic and digital means. Please ask your Microsoft business contacts to consult with their legal contact for approval before using these templates.
