Supporting Communities in the Northern California District

Published: July 31, 2004 | Updated: December 8, 2006

Microsoft and its employees have long recognized the importance of supporting our local communities. Each year, the company contributes millions of dollars in cash, software, and employee volunteer hours to nonprofit organizations. As a part of Microsoft's community investments around the world, the Microsoft Unlimited Potential (UP) program focuses on partnering with others to provide technology skills for underserved young people and adults through Community Technology Centers (CTCs).

How to Inquire About Funding

If your nonprofit is located within Northern California, and you are interested in receiving a donation from Microsoft, please review our program eligibility guidelines. If your organization meets the eligibility criteria, and you would like application information, send e-mail to ncalgive@microsoft.com.

How to Inquire About Software Donations

All software donation requests within the United States are handled by our nonprofit partner, TechSoup. Eligible organizations may make one donation request each year. There is no membership fee to access TechSoup, but a small administrative fee from TechSoup will apply to each order.

Visit TechSoup's Web site for details on how to request a software donation
