Microsoft Unlimited Potential – Community Technology Skills Program Grants

Published: May 14, 2004 | Updated: January 23, 2008

Community Affairs

Microsoft Unlimited Potential – Community Technology Skills grants provide nonprofit organizations with funding to support technology training programs ranging from learning basic computer skills to using advanced business productivity applications. Donations of cash, software, curriculum, and technical expertise enable individuals to learn about technology and gain the information technology skills needed for employment in the IT field or other industry sectors. UP grants are made through Microsoft's U.S. and international subsidiaries, which work closely with local organizations to identify community technology centers (CTCs) where IT skills training is a primary focus.

How to Apply

Microsoft accepts funding proposals from eligible organizations through Microsoft subsidiary offices located around the world. Funding decisions are made in October of each year.

Community Technology Skills Grant Recipients

Please note, from 2003 to 2007, Unlimited Potential described a grant program supporting community technology centers. Beginning in 2007, the name Microsoft Unlimited Potential is used to describe Microsoft's expanded, integrated and accelerated long-term global business and citizenship commitment to bring the benefits of technology to those who currently receive little or no benefits from technology. The following grant recipients represent CTCs from around the world. View the list of 2008 recipients, as well as recipients from previous years.
