The CTS program is a localized grant program that focuses on educating underserved communities to use basic software skills to help advance their economic well-being. The program is delivered through NGOs that operate Community Technology Learning Centers (CTLCs) across 103 countries. Yes, Microsoft provides software grants in more than 100 countries through the worldwide TechSoup Global program and our local Community Affairs managers. We continue to expand our program to include additional countries.

The Microsoft Software Donation program provides all eligible organizations up to 6 software titles and up to 50 user licenses per title within a two-year period. Please check with your local TechSoup affiliate or Microsoft Community Affairs manager for additional program details in your country.

Eligibility for the Microsoft Software Donation program is very broadly defined, and all eligible organizations are entitled to the program benefits.

Several resources are accessible through the Software Support section of the NGO Connection Web site. Microsoft also works with NGO partners whose mission is to serve other NGOs in building organization and technology capacity.

TechSoup is a nonprofit organization that provides a range of technology services to the nonprofit community, including discounted and donated technology products, news and articles, and discussion forums. TechSoup continues to expand its global presence through local NGO partners. Microsoft has worked in partnership with TechSoup to support their global expansion and make our technology donations more accessible to NGOs everywhere.

Windows operating systems are available as upgrade versions through the Microsoft Software Donation program. The full version operating system is available through the Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher program.
