Alejandro Buschel, Microsoft Security Program Manager, has been named by the Hispanic IT Executive Council (HITEC) to their list of Top 100 Hispanics in Information Technology. HITEC 100 highlights the nation’s top Hispanic executives and rising stars in information technology. Pedro Celis, Microsoft Distinguished Engineer in the Microsoft SQL Server group, was featured on the Hispanic Business 100 Influentials 2009 list. Individuals on this year's 100 Influentials list are selected from the halls of power in Washington, D.C.; the corporate world; the information technology profession; the health care sector; education; the media, and other areas. This year's list even includes an astronaut.

 | Clara Ponton Named as 2009 Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) Young Hispanic Corporate Achiever
Clara Ponton, Microsoft Dynamics Program Manager, has been chosen as a 2009 HACR Young Hispanic Corporate Achiever. Initiated in 2007, the HACR Young Hispanic Corporate Achievers (YHCA) Program was created to recognize young Hispanics in Corporate America who have shown leadership qualities within their respective corporations and have demonstrated a proven commitment to the Hispanic community. Candidates from across the country were nominated by their respective companies and selected after a review of the candidates’ accomplishments, established leadership qualities, industry expertise, education and employment experiences, and a demonstrated commitment to their communities. The selected Hispanic achievers participated in a three-day leadership and education training conference, October 18–20, at St. Regis Hotel in Washington, D.C.
