Partners and Outreach

Partners and Outreach

Microsoft is committed to reaching out to underserved communities and to developing long-term relationships with professional, educational, and nonprofit organizations that serve those communities. We see our efforts through our Professional, Youth, Disability, National, and Community Outreach Program as a way of strengthening ties and growing talent—talent that we hope one day will further the advances of the high-tech industry.

Through its community programs, Microsoft is giving back to the diverse communities in which we work, live, and do business. The main components of our outreach program serve these communities through supporting higher education, youth programs, and nonprofit groups that focus on technology. Through these relationships we provide corporate contributions to strengthen awareness of and access to information technology for all people.

In addition to our outreach programs, Microsoft participates in national, regional, and local conferences and career fairs for several organizations by facilitating workshops, advertising in publications, and sponsoring annual events.

Outreach Partnerships

Microsoft is partnering with top diversity-related organizations to bring technology to diverse communities. We maintain relationships with the following groups through employee membership and volunteerism, career fair and conference participation, software donations, and financial sponsorships.
