Known internally as "Customer & Partner Experience (CPE)", this framework is the foundation of a worldwide effort to develop innovative processes and tools that improve customer and partner satisfaction and make customer focus the way we do business at Microsoft. Since the implementation of the CPE strategy in 2003, we have made steady gains in net satisfaction with our Company. We create satisfaction accountability through a company-wide system of accountability measurement. Senior executives and the entire employee base are held accountable through annual goals and performance evaluations that encourage strong customer focus.
