How to License

Negotiating an exclusive licensing or spin-out generally takes 3 months to a year, which allows time for your evaluation of the technology and discussion of business terms.

• Contact our licensing group and provide information about your business
• Microsoft provides an evaluation license agreement
• Microsoft sends evaluation information such as code, binaries and documentation
• Discuss and finalize business terms (valuation, field of use, deal structure, etc.)
• Negotiate and finalize legal agreement
• Microsoft delivers IP package as agreed
