How do I use Flip 3D to manage open windows?

Use Flip 3D to flip through open windows to locate the window that you want. Flip 3D displays the screens as a three-dimensional (3D) set of tiles.

View open windows as three-dimensional tiles

  1. In Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center, locate your device and then select Flip 3D to assign it to a button.
  2. To view your open windows, press the button you’ve assigned to Flip 3D.
  3. Rotate the wheel to scroll through the open windows until the window that you want to show is in front.
  4. Select the window to open it.

View open windows on Windows 10

On Windows 10, use Task View to go through open windows.

  1. In Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center, locate your device and then select Task View to assign it to a button.
  2. To view your open windows, press the button you’ve assigned to Task View.
  3. Select the window to open it.
