Amalga UIS Medical Imaging Module | Leveraging the inherent capabilities of Microsoft Amalga Intelligence System (UIS) 2009, the Amalga UIS Medical Imaging Module provides the capability to liberate multiple types of medical images and display them alongside other information available in Amalga UIS using an easy to use image viewer. |
| The Medical Imaging Module: Unifies images from across different locations, departmental systems, modalities, and the enterprise into a single, holistic imaging view. Presents medical images alongside reports, labs, EKG, and documents. Provides a longitudinal graphical and pictorial timeline with intuitive ways to filter information and find the right information quickly. Allows imaging departments to combine information, such as imaging turnaround and patient wait times, with data from other departments (accounting, lab, etc.) for a real-time understanding of their performance and impact on the overall patient experience. Utilizes server side processing to facilitate faster delivery and minimize network utilization to provide clinicians with fast access throughout the enterprise. Supports consolidation of the images or allows customers to leverage their existing infrastructure.
