Adrian Travis is Researcher in the Applied Sciences Group at Microsoft Corp. where he is working on the development of displays and sensors for human computer interfaces. Prior to joining Microsoft Adrian lectured at Cambridge University Engineering Department where he was a member of the Photonics and Sensors Group. Travis pioneered Wedge optics and has extensive experience of 3D displays. He remains a Fellow of Clare College, Cambridge where he was Dean of Students. In 2008 he was awarded the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Silver Medal.
