Christian joined the Applied Sciences Group in 2013 working on the development of displays and sensors for human computer interfaces. Prior to joining Microsoft, Christian worked eight years for Setred a company that developed a high quality glasses free 3D display system for the professional market. Christian invented the 3D display system during his PhD period and also founded the company.
Christian holds a BA, MEng, MA and PhD from Cambridge University. Half of his PhD was spent working in the Spatial Imaging Group at MIT Media Lab.
Christian has a keen interest in making stuff ranging from sewing, metal machining, wood crafting, concrete molding and much more. He claims to have the largest private collection of tools in Norway.
