If you would like to regularly receive the latest articles and information from Microsoft At Home & Microsoft At Work, you can subscribe to one or both of our RSS feeds. View articles recently featured in our Microsoft At Home RSS feed and Microsoft At Work RSS feed.

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. If you haven’t used RSS yet, give it a try. Find more information about RSS feeds in our article RSS 101. See more details about how to unsubscribe from an RSS feed.



How to subscribe to our newsletter

  1. Go to the Microsoft At Home & At Work newsletter subscription page.

  2. Select the Subscribe check box, and then press Continue.

  3. Next, sign in to Microsoft with your Windows Live ID or create an account if you don’t already have one (it’s free and easy).*

  4. Fill in the newsletter subscription form, and then press Continue.

To finalize your subscription, you must now verify your email address with Microsoft. To do this, sign in to the email account you just used to subscribe to the newsletter. In your Inbox, locate the email message from Microsoft that includes this subject line: Verification email. (It may take a few minutes after you complete the subscription form for the email message to arrive.) Follow the instructions in the email message to complete the subscription.

*If you created a new account with Windows Live when subscribing to the newsletter, you will need to verify your email address. It is a simple process: Sign in to that same email account, and then locate an email message from the Windows Live Team. It will ask you to “Confirm your email address for Windows Live ID.” Follow the instructions in the email message to confirm your email address.


How to manage your Microsoft communications (including unsubscribe)

  1. Go to the Microsoft Profile Center.

  2. In the Quicklinks section of the page, click Manage Communications.

  3. Using the email account that currently receives the newsletter you wish to discontinue, sign in to Windows Live.

  4. In the Your Subscriptions box, select the check box next to the newsletter you would like to stop receiving, and then click the Unsubscribe button. The newsletter name should no longer be in the Your Subscriptions box.

  5. Finally, be sure to click Save.

Steps to subscribe to our RSS feeds

If you are using Internet Explorer 8:

  1. Follow the links to either the At Home or At Work RSS feed page.

  2. At the top of the page, click Subscribe to this Feed.

  3. This window opens.

  4. Click Subscribe. The feed appears in your Internet Explorer Favorites Bar, on the Feeds tab:

If you are using another web browser:

The steps will be slightly different if you are using a web browser other than Internet Explorer. When you choose to subscribe to a feed, the window that opens gives you the option of which program (aggregator, mail program, or web browser) you’d like to use.

How do I unsubscribe from an RSS feed?

No longer interested in the content? It’s simple to unsubscribe. To unsubscribe from a feed, in the RSS aggregator, click the Unsubscribe button. Or if you’re reading your RSS feeds from the Feed tab in Internet Explorer, just right-click the item or folder and then, from the drop-down menu, select Delete.
