Asian Paints operates manufacturing facilities in 22 countries around the world, and is the largest paint company in 10 overseas markets. The company's executives saw a critical need to standardize operations in the international markets. With this objective in mind, the company chose Microsoft Dynamics NAV (then known as Microsoft Business Solutions–NAV).
