MARVIN

MARVIN is an award winning training, education and presentation program from the Northern Territory Institute for Community Education and Development (NTICED) that uses customised 3D animated characters to communicate important information to community and school based audiences.
Through the integration of real voice, computer generated voice, written text, images, video and Microsoft PowerPoint presentations, users can quickly and easily create or customise presentations that accurately reflect the cultural, lingual and social attributes of target audiences.
By communicating to different groups in their own language and with their own cultural meaning, communications become relevant, engaging and interesting.
Microsoft’s Partners in Learning initiative is pleased to support NTICED to provide access to MARVIN software licenses for all Australian schools from 2008.

Applying for access to MARVIN software

We know that schools often vary in their IT infrastructure and support requirements. NTICED believe that some implementation training is necessary to ensure that schools get the most out of MARVIN from day one. Regional and state based MARVIN implementation training courses are currently being scheduled for 2008.
