The "Zero to BI and Reporting Workshop Series" incorporates "Zero to BI in Two Intense Days" and "Zero to Corporate Reporting in Two Intense Days". These two workshops will equip you to start building powerful BI applications and reports from the moment you get back to the office.

Zero to BI in Two Intense Days
Zero to BI in Two Intense Days has been designed to cover the entire lifecycle development of a Multi-dimensional Data Mart / Data Warehouse. You will learn how to start small - with a manageable, low risk / high value, pilot project. As part of the pilot, you will use how to utilise Server 2000 to build OLAP cubes that you can browse with Excel Pivot Tables or third party BI clients. This initial pilot exercise will then form the basis for you to build additional functionality, dimensions and cubes into your Data Mart / Data Warehouse.

Zero to Corporate Reporting in Two Intense Days
Zero to Corporate Reporting in Two Intense Days provides students with the skills needed to implement reporting solutions using Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services. Reporting Services is a new, corporate-ready reporting platform that enables end-to-end report development, management, and delivery. Students will achieve a complete and correct understanding of how to use Reporting Services to create and manage reports and build real-world applications for their businesses that give users useful reports and analysis of information from a wide variety of sources including IBM DB2, Oracle 9i and Microsoft SQL Server.
