Removing Entourage 2008, Web Services Edition

When Office for Mac is uninstalled, some preferences files must also be deleted. In this manner, Office can be installed by using a different product keyA sequence of 25 letters and numbers. If Microsoft Entourage 2008 for Mac, Web Services Edition, is removed and Entourage 2008 is reinstalled, the Entourage 2008, Web Services Edition, identity cannot be used. The Entourage 2008 identity must be imported from an archived Entourage 2008 database.

NoteTo reinstall an earlier version of Entourage 2008 after Entourage 2008, Web Services Edition, is installed, Office 2008 must be completely removed. Also, Entourage 2008 and Entourage 2008, Web Services Edition cannot be run on the same computer.

The person who removes Entourage 2008, Web Services Edition, must have administrative credentials on the computer and must quit all applications before running Remove Office.

  1. Open/username/Applications/Microsoft Office 2008/Additional Tools/Remove Office/.

  2. Double-click Remove Office.

  3. Follow the instructions to remove Office.

  4. On the Finder menu, click Empty Trash.
