Session 1 Review: Introduction to ".NET Extreme" with Dr Neil Roodyn
We asked the doctor how development teams could become more productive and he delivered. In this highly entertaining session, Dr Neil shared his tips from his new book eXtreme .NET that can help you increase the value of your software and much more.
Session 2 Review: SQL 2005 Security Enhancements with Greg Low
Run by Greg Low, MVP and Lead Consultant for Readify, this session showed us how the enhancements in SQL Server 2005 can help create more secure and robust applications. The session focused on user-schema separation, catalogue security and encryption support.
Session 3 Review: SQL 2005 Integration Services and Report Builder with Dave Glover
Here's where it all came together. Leading web development speaker Dave Glover showed us how the new SQL Server Integration Services SSIS (replacing DTS) brings to SQL 2005 new and advanced aggregation and transformation services. He also gave us an insight into Report Builder - a great new visual reporting tool that complements and simplifies Reporting Services for end users.
