Participants watch the short Microsoft Office 2007 Charity demo for Microsoft to donate $1 to The Smith Family’s Learning for Life program per viewing. Maximum $1 donation on behalf of a person per day, limits per person set using internet browser cookie technology. Third party internet download and website access charges may apply. Any costs associated with accessing the Microsoft Office 2007 Charity demo and the website are the responsibility of the participant. Total donation from Microsoft for the entire promotion will be capped at a maximum of AU $100,000. Microsoft reserves the right to donate up to $100,000 irrespective of whether the Microsoft Office 2007 Charity demo is viewed 100,000 times.
Microsoft assumes no responsibility for, and the participant releases Microsoft from responsibility for, any failure to register a viewing of a demo or for inaccurate information or for any loss, claim, damage or injury to person or property (including computer systems and servers) as a result of the participant’s participation in this promotion or the conduct of the promotion generally or as a direct or indirect result of a participant’s error, any technical problem of any kind including communications or network failure, unauthorised access to, transferring or theft of data, whether caused by the participant or associated with the equipment or programming used in the conduct of this promotion. If, because of any such problem, this promotion is not able to be conducted as planned and/or the promotion’s administration, security, fairness or integrity are compromised or affected, Microsoft may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion and/or disqualify any participant involved in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this promotion in any way.
