Microsoft Appoints New Director of South Australia

Australia – 13 April 2007 – Microsoft Australia today announced the appointment of Mr Mike Duhne as State Director of Microsoft South Australia.

As State Director of South Australia, Mr Duhne will be responsible for managing the local business and developing relationships with industry groups and public and commercial clients.

Mr Duhne will be based in Adelaide and will report to Mr Nigel Cadywould, National Public Sector Director, Microsoft Australia. Mr Duhne will be part of the Public Sector Leadership Team and according to Mr Cadywould will be a great asset to the South Australian business.

Mike brings great local knowledge of the South Australian marketplace to this role and has a real passion to make a difference for our customers there.

"In his previous role Mike’s creativity and strategic thinking have already established a high impact Innovation Centre, which forms an important part of the South Australian business." said Mr Cadywould.

Prior to his appointment, Mr Duhne was working as National Public Sector Services Sales Manager at Microsoft. Mr Duhne holds a Bachelor of Computer Science and an MBA from the University of South Australia.
