Press Release:
Microsoft has today announced Protech Australasia as a Microsoft Identity Integration Server (MIIS) 2003 preferred partner.

As a MIIS 2003 preferred partner, Microsoft recognises Protech's strengths in health and government markets, integrating MIIS with legacy applications such as Frontier Software's CHRIS HR and Payroll system, and Tower Software's TRIM Records Management application. Identity Management is the ability to reliably and securely manage an individual or organisation's access to technology.

"Protech have a proven capability of developing Identity Management tools through its work incorporating customer's existing applications with MIIS technology," said Michael Leworthy, Windows Server Product Manager, Microsoft Australia. "We are pleased to work closely with them as they continue to deliver high level MIIS consultancy, development and implementation skills."

"One of the great benefits of being a preferred partner is the additional MIIS 2003 training we can access.  This allows us to build our skill base even further to better service our customer's needs," said Peter Tiernan, Protech Chief Technology Officer. "Our strength has been the ability to quickly embrace the MIIS technology and help a broad range of organisations implement tailored and cost effective technology solutions," he said.

"Protech's Identity Management Applications provide a cornerstone of our Public Sector and Healthcare Solutions Strategy in Australia. They provide a powerful integration layer for our partners and customers to achieve a unique combination of high value business outcomes at a very low cost" said Catherine Reynolds, Public Sector & Healthcare Strategist, Microsoft Australia.
