Microsoft Australia appoints Product Marketing Manager for its Business Tools

Microsoft Australia today announced the appointment of Robin Young to the position of Product Marketing Manager for Business Tools.
With over seven years' experience in the IT industry, Robin will be responsible for all marketing activities for Microsoft Project, Visio and FrontPage.
Prior to joining Microsoft, Robin held the position of Product Marketing Manager for Computer Aided Design vendor Autodesk. In that role, Robin was responsible for the product marketing and sales programs throughout the South Asia Pacific region.
Before moving to Australia in 2000 from Germany, Robin was the Marketing Manager for German telecommunications solution provider, Orga Kartensysteme GmbH, where he was responsible for marketing Orga SIM / microprocessor / smart cards and related software technologies to telecommunications/cross-media companies.
Robin also spent two years in the Middle East as a Marketing Manager for Landmark Graphics Corporation, a software company specialising in developing complex modeling and reservoir simulation software for the exploration and production of oil and gas. Prior to joining Landmark, Robin worked for two years as a Communications Manager and IT Manager for Rouse & Co. International.
