Our Small Business Specialists are not only more focused on small business needs, they receive professional training to equip them to better respond to a full range of small business technology requirements.
Small Business Specialists carry an exclusive identity that designates them as Small Business Specialists, making it easy for customers to find IT Consultants who are dedicated to meeting the needs of small businesses. Look for the blue logo when considering your IT Consultant options.
What does the technology assessment involve?
The complimentary* technology assessment generally has two components - the Business Assessment and the Technical Assessment:
  1. The Business Assessment: A specialised Small Business Microsoft IT Consultant will meet with you to discuss and help identify your business needs, current processes and goals. This will help them to determine where technology can provide a clear return on investment.
  2. The Technical Assessment: This stage of the assessment will focus on your current IT set-up, identify gaps and establish what sort of IT system is required in order to achieve your business goals.
After the assessment you will receive a written Business Assessment Summary from your IT consultant outlining the recommended technology solutions required to support your business goals.
How long will the Small Business Technology Assessment take?
As a guide, for businesses with 2-24 PCs a Technology Assessment would generally comprise a one-hour business assessment and one-hour technical review. More info.
Depending on the complexity of a customer's business, a technology assessment may take longer than two hours to complete; up to the first two hours is complimentary*. It is within the IT Consultant's discretion to charge the customer for any additional time incurred over two hours.
