Why do you organize an event for both developers and IT professionals together?

Some years ago it was possible to completely separate the infrastructure group and development group in an IT department. Nowadays, with current technologies, we see that both groups are getting more integrated. While developers have to be aware of the infrastructure, IT professionals need to be aware of the deployment of technologies the developers use. By bringing both technical audiences together at one event, you will have the chance to talk to subject matter experts and attend sessions of both "worlds". This is exactly the same as we did and do with the MSDN and TechNet events.

Why are the TechDays organized in the ICC in Ghent?

For the needs of our audience, the ICC in Ghent offers the best mix of infrastructure, accessibility and size available today in Belgium. Past years we received lots of very positive feedback on that location.

Why this schedule?

We have created our schedule based on the feedback we received through different channels. We have added sessions about Microsoft technologies of today and the near future in order to get the most out of this event for the attendees. This schedule creates an excellent balance for active developers and IT professionals that want to stay in touch with the Microsoft products and technologies.

Will there be an attendee package to take home?

Absolutely.

Do I have to choose between the developer and IT professional track?

You can follow any session you like. We even hope you'll take advantage of this to learn a little about the important aspects of both worlds.

Am I subscribed to the event?

After you subscribe yourself to the event or someone else subscribes you, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. Another mail is sent if your subscription is cancelled.

When do I receive the invoice?

The invoice is sent by email when the payment is confirmed. A printed version of the invoice will also be sent via regular postal mail.

How can I receive the invoice before doing any payment?

Microsoft kindly asks its customers to proceed with the payment based on the provided pro-forma invoice. As soon as the payment is received, the final VAT invoice is sent out.

Can I use "opleidingscheques" of the Flanders Authority?

We cannot accept "opleidingscheques" for the TechDays.

What about special meals?
