The overall goal of the VISUG is to provide the Visual Studio .NET community in Belgium with the necessary infrastructure and organization to enable a community meeting point for everybody who is interested in Microsoft's Visual Studio .NET related technologies. A lot of community activities are happening already in Belgium in the context of blogs, informal meetings, events organized by Microsoft or partners. VISUG wants to formalize these activities and become the single point of entry for the Belgian Visual Studio .NET community to the outside world.
VISUG targets everybody interested in Visual Studio.NET related products and technologies. This involves developers, infrastructure people, administrators, architects, managers, sales people and possibly also power-users. The meetings and activities of the VISUG should cover topics in all of these areas. The distribution amongst the topics should be representative to the categorization of the members.
