    • By car
    • Coming from Gent / St-Niklaas (E17 / E34-West). After the Kennedy-tunnel, keep driving past Antwerpen-Centrum, Antwerpen-Zuid, and Antwerpen-Oost. At Antwerpen-Noord (E19), keep driving towards Nederland and follow Antwerpen Singel to the A12-Noord. Leave the A12 at exit 16 (Ekeren) en follow direction Singel. You will see Metropolis at your right when arriving at the Groenendaalpoort.
    • Coming from Brussels (A12-Zuid). After driving over the viaduct Boomsesteenweg and the Bevrijdings-tunnel, you will find yourself on the Ring around Antwerp. Follow it towards Nederland. Drive past Antwerpen-Zuid, and Antwerpen-Oost. At Antwerpen-Noord (E19), keep driving towards Nederland and follow Antwerpen Singel to the A12-Noord. Leave the A12 at exit 16 (Ekeren) en follow direction Singel. You will see Metropolis at your right when arriving at the Groenendaalpoort.
    • Coming from Brussels / Mechelen (E19-Zuid). Follow the Ring around Antwerp in the direction of Nederland. Drive past Antwerpen-Oost.     • Coming from Hasselt / Turnhout (E313 / E34-Oost). Follow the Ring around Antwerp in the direction of Nederland. At Antwerpen-Noord (E19), keep driving towards Nederland and follow Antwerpen Singel to the A12-Noord. Leave the A12 at exit 16 (Ekeren) en follow direction Singel. You will see Metropolis at your right when arriving at the Groenendaalpoort.
    • Coming from the Netherlands (E19-Noord / A12-Noord). Follow the A12 in the direction of Nederland. Leave the A12 at exit 16 (Ekeren) and follow direction Singel. You will see Metropolis at your right when arriving at the Groenendaalpoort.
    • Easier route when coming from the Netherlands: Stay on the E19. Follow the signs "Antwerpen Centrum". Take exit 1 (N129, Merksem). Go right when you get off the highway (direction Antwerpen). Now go straight, you'll find Metropolis at your right hand side about 500m from the exit.
    • Coming from Antwerp Center. Follow Singel, driving North. At Groenendaalpoort, turn left. You will see Metropolis at your right when arriving at the Groenendaalpoort.
    • Public Transportation
    • Metropolis is easy accessible by tram. The tram runs from the south of the city, via the central station - route map (pdf) - timetable (pdf). Please note that the tram runs underground in the city centre. Tickets, and a 3 or 5 day pass, are available on the underground platform. The destination for Metropolis is 'Luchtbal'.

  • Why do you organize an event for both developers and IT professionals
    together?

    Some years ago it was possible to completely separate the infrastructure group and development group in an IT department. Nowadays, with current technologies, we see that both groups are getting more integrated. While developers have to be aware of the infrastructure, IT professionals need to be aware of the deployment of technologies the developers use. By bringing both technical audiences together at one event, you will have the chance to talk to subject matter experts and attend sessions of both "worlds". This is exactly the same as we did and do with the MSDN and TechNet events.

  • Why this schedule?

    We have created our schedule based on the feedback we received through different channels. We have added sessions about Microsoft technologies of today and the near future in order to get the most out of this event for the attendees. This schedule creates an excellent balance for active developers and IT professionals that want to stay in touch with the Microsoft products and technologies.

  • Do I have to choose between the developer and IT professional track?

    You can follow any session you like. We even hope you'll take advantage of this to learn a little about the important aspects of both worlds.

  • Am I subscribed to the event?

    After you subscribe yourself to the event or someone else subscribes you, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. Another mail is sent if your subscription is cancelled.

  • When do I receive the invoice?

    The invoice is sent by email when the payment is confirmed. A printed version of the invoice will also be sent via regular postal mail.

  • How can I receive the invoice before doing any payment?

    Microsoft kindly asks its customers to proceed with the payment based on the provided pro-forma invoice. As soon as the payment is received, the final VAT invoice is sent out.

  • I haven’t received my e-ticket for TechDays.

    If you haven’t received your e-ticket it might mean you did not pay for your registration. Only paid participants receive the e-ticket. Please proceed with your payment and your e-ticket will be sent to you automatically. However, if you did issue your payment please contact TechDays backoffice at aga@ddmc.eu.

  • Why do I need to bring my e-ticket with me for TechDays?

    The e-ticket is the only valid confirmation of your paid participation. Please bring it with you to the event to the registration desk.

  • When do I receive my e-ticket and more information about timing and venue?

    Two weeks before the event together with your e-ticket you will receive practical details related to the event.
