On January 22, 2009 Microsoft announced updates to its Business Intelligence roadmap that included the inclusion of PerformancePoint Server’s scorecard and dashboard capabilities as part of SharePoint Server 2007 Enterprise CAL.
For SharePoint customers on ECAL:
For existing customers who have SharePoint Server 2007 Enterprise CAL licenses and Software Assurance, you can download PerformancePoint Server as an entitlement of your license. PerformancePoint Server augments the Business Intelligence capabilities in SharePoint Server 2007 with interactive dashboards, and scorecard solution enabling you to drive strategy and align with companywide objectives. PerformancePoint Server is balanced scorecard certified, enabling you create and manage key performance indicators, provides rich web-based guided analytics, and aggregates information from multiple sources into meaningful, actionable dashboards.
