Microsoft works closely through a one-to-one relationship with these selected companies in the BizSpark One program, providing customized engagement plans to accelerate their growth including access to technical, marketing and business resources.

In November 2008, Microsoft BizSpark was launched as a global program offering software, support and visibility to early-stage startups.

Microsoft BizSpark One, an expansion of the BizSpark program, was launched in November 2009. It seeks to accelerate the growth of selected high potential startups through a one-to-one relationship between Microsoft and the startup. In some markets, BizSpark One goes a step further by forming Advisory Committees to help address common startup needs in those countries—such as access to leading seed and venture capital organizations.
