Enterprise Manageability and Standards Support

BizTalk RFID Mobile provides the ability to surface device alerts to Microsoft System Center Operations Manager via BizTalk Server RFID.
Out-of-the-box connectivity with readers using the EPCglobal-ratified Low-Level Reader Protocol (LLRP) reader-host standard, as well as services to decode tag attributes natively via the Tag Data Translation (TDT) standards library. Both provide a standards-based approach to discover, provision and troubleshoot RFID devices, in addition to surfacing business-relevant attributes from RFID tags.

Storing and Forwarding, Remote Management, and Discovery

BizTalk RFID Mobile supports native connectivity to BizTalk Server RFID. This connectivity includes the ability to store events locally and forward them to the server and also allows a remote manager to discover and manage a Windows Mobile-based device.

SQL Sink Service

BizTalk RFID Mobile supports using a SQL database to store events and information on the mobile device, in much the same way that BizTalk Server RFID does. This helps ensure that data collected on a device is not lost in case of network outage and events can be replicated to SQL Server database or a different LOB system for further analysis.
