Microsoft BizTalk Adapter for WebSphere MQ v2.0 Product Overview
The BizTalk Adapter for WebSphere MQ v2.0 is a connectivity solution that enables the integration of BizTalk Server 2004 into an enterprise that uses WebSphere MQ as its messaging standard. The solution in part addresses the following customer issues:

BizTalk Adapter for WebSphere MQ v2.0 is a key addition to the BizTalk Server 2004 suite of services that provide a set of listeners for various communication protocol standards. The listeners attach a protocol, for example Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), File Transfer Protocol (FTP), and/or WebSphere MQ, to an enterprise application integration (EAI), business-to-business (B2B), or application-to-application (A2A) integration trading relationship.

BizTalk Server provides EAI, B2B integration, business process automation, and a Plug and Play connectivity solution for WebSphere MQ environments. The combination of BizTalk Server 2004 and the BizTalk Adapter for WebSphere MQ v2.0 provides a loosely coupled Plug and Play integration architecture for WebSphere MQ and BizTalk Server 2004. The administration of the adapter is achieved using BizTalk Server administration components, thus BizTalk administrators can administer the WebSphere MQ adapter with tools they use for administering BizTalk Server.
