How will OLSB customers be impacted by Office 365?
Microsoft Office 365 replaces Office Live Small Business as the comprehensive Microsoft productivity service for small businesses. The Office Live Small Business service will continue to run as it does today until at least February 2012. As a valued Office Live Small Business customer, you will be offered three months free of the new Office 365 service.
What do I need to do now?
For now, Office Live Small Business customers can continue to use the service. Later this year we will we provide customers with additional details around the transition, how to claim the free promotional offer, and what you will need to do to prepare for the end of the Office Live Small Business service.
Can I transition to Office 365 today?
You can transition today, though we recommend this only if you are a confident in your IT skills. More details will be made available later this year around how to transition to Office 365. Transitioning your account to Office 365 will involve both automated and manual steps, including manually recreating your public-facing website. How much will Office 365 cost after the free offer period ends?
Office 365 for professionals and small businesses (Plan P1) will cost £4 per user per month after the free trial or promotional period. Custom domain fees are not included in subscription price.
