A high-performance workplace increases people's influence on a business and enhances their work.

People can be a business's greatest asset, but they'll only be at their best when working in an environment that's conducive to their success. If your business isn't doing everything it can to balance investments in people, technology, the office environment, and business processes, it will fall short of its potential. In this article, Gartner defines the "high-performance workplace" as one that focuses on increasing people's influence on a business as well as the impact of processes, methods, physical environment, and the technology and tools that enhance their work.
