Management Reporter, a part of Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server 2007, is a new report writer designed to help finance groups create and generate financial reports that can be distributed across the organization. Management Reporter works directly with Office PerformancePoint Server 2007, or it can be used as a stand-alone report writer with virtually any general ledger with integration, such as Microsoft Dynamics, ensuring real-time accurate data directly from the source.
Working as a natural extension of PerformancePoint Server, Management Reporter is designed to help the finance organization close the books in less time, create accurate financial reports without the assistance of the IT department, and distribute the information in a timely manner. Accurate and detailed financial reports can be created in as few as seven steps. A helpful wizard guides finance professionals through the creation and generation of trial balance reports, income statements and balance sheets.
